Friday prayer
Jumu’ah at GIC
Two khutbahs every Friday, so the community can pray around work and school. Unlike the daily prayers, these times stay the same all year.
The earlier service — the busier of the two. Come a few minutes before the khutbah to find a spot.
A later option for anyone who cannot leave work or school in time for the first khutbah.
Jumu’ah times as published by GIC. Attending for the first time? See what to expect on your first visit.
Our mission
Building the future together
Georgetown Islamic Center is creating a strong foundation for Muslims in the Round Rock and Georgetown area — a place to strengthen faith, nurture families, and grow a lasting community.
What began in 2018 with families gathering in homes and parks has grown into a 6.5-acre campus with a working masjid, weekly classes, and an expanding partnership with Darul Uloom Austin. Every part of that growth has been carried by the community it serves.

Invest in your Akhirah
“Whoever builds a mosque, desiring thereby Allah’s pleasure, Allah builds for him the like of it in paradise.” — Bukhari
GIC is working to pay off the loan on its 6.5-acre campus, so that more of every dollar given goes to programs rather than interest — a lasting sadaqah jāriyah.
GIC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 83-1967983). Donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law.
